English/Language Arts Homework Procedures
- Homework will be given daily, unless there is a special project.
- Students will record homework assignments in their planners
- Students are required to read twenty minutes each night.
- The students will record the number of minutes read
- Parents please sign your initials next to the number of minutes read.
- All homework will be discussed in detail with extension activities. Therefore it is important that students come prepared with homework completed.
English Language Arts Homework - Cover Portfolio (Special Homework Project) - Due Tuesday, September 3rd.
Using the file folder that was sent home on Monday, and Tuesday for Ellerbe's homeroom, create a collage of photos, favorite memories, dreams, favorite people, foods, places, etc.... Please keep in mind that I will laminate these folders. So do not add raised decor to the files.
Spelling words will be assigned each Monday. There is NO pretest. All students will be tested from the regular spelling list. In addition ALL students will have the opportunity to test from the challenge list. Spelling test will take place each Friday, unless otherwise indicated.
The first spelling list will go home on Tuesday, September 3rd.
