Supplies Needed for science

This week in science we will be studying Food Webs. As part of our learning, the students will be working with a partner to create a “triorama.” This is like 3 mini dioramas put together. The students will be constructing an ecosystem, including producers (plants) and consumers (animals), to show the flow of energy between organisms. They will also be creating two scenarios that cause a big change to their ecosystem/food web and the results of that change. That being said, the students will need to bring in some materials this week so that they can construct these in class.

Examples of Materials Needed:

Clay

Drinking straws

Grass/straw,

Twigs

Cotton balls

Popsicle sticks

Anything else you think might work.  We will start these on Thursday!  Thank you!
