Patz and Ellerbe's Fourth Grade : What is Science?

The students are working on posters in groups to discover facts about famous scientists and their inventions.

This is my 15th year in education. I attended college in Stillwater, Oklahoma at Oklahoma State University. I got my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I just completed my Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Texas A&M Commerce.

I’ve lived in Texas for 13 years and I am currently living in Little Elm with my husband, Randy. Who is also in education. I am a football coach’s widow! When we aren’t teaching or watching football games, we spend time with the absolute joys of our lives. Our three wonderful children, Gracie Sue (9), Landry (7) and Sawyer Cate (3) definitely keep us on our toes!

Mrs. Ellerbe

My name is Roshounda Ellerbe. I am looking forward to teaching fourth grade this year! I have been teaching elementary school for sixteen years. I have a Master’s Degree in educational leadership, and I am currently pursuing my doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University.

I am a native of California. I moved to Texas with my family in 2005. I have been blessed with a wonderful husband and three amazing children! When I’m not working, I enjoy volunteering at my church, reading, gardening, and cheering on my children at high school football and soccer games.

I look forward to a wonderful partnership this year!
